Privacy Policy
ClariMeno is designed to keep your personal health record on your device. This policy explains what the app handles, what reaches our service providers, and the choices available to you.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the ClariMeno mobile app and its support pages. ClariMeno is intended for adults aged 18 and older.
Information you enter
You may enter a first name, age, symptoms and severity, notes, menstrual lifecycle and bleeding information, medication or HRT names and schedules, reminder settings, and dose logs. These records are stored in the app’s encrypted local database on your device. ClariMeno does not upload these health records to our servers.
Account information
If you sign in, Firebase Authentication processes an account identifier and information supplied by your chosen provider, such as your email address, display name, profile photo, and sign-in provider. Apple may provide a private relay email if you choose to hide your email. We use this information only to authenticate your account and enable account-based features.
Notifications and technical information
If you enable account notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device push token, platform, app version, a randomly generated installation identifier, and update timestamps. These details are associated with your Firebase user ID so notifications can reach your device. Notification text does not include symptoms, medication names, or private notes. Disabling account notifications or signing out removes the device registration from our database.
The app also reads a public release-configuration record from Firebase so that an obsolete build can direct users to a required security or reliability update.
Local notifications and reports
Local reminder schedules stay on your device and are managed by iOS or Android. Appointment reports are generated on your device. A report leaves the app only when you choose a share destination; that destination’s privacy terms then apply.
How information is used and shared
We use account and notification information to authenticate you, register your device for notifications, protect the service, and provide requested features. We do not sell personal information, use health records for advertising, or share health records with data brokers. We use Google Firebase as a service provider for authentication, notifications, server functions, and limited configuration storage.
Retention and deletion
Local health records remain on your device until you use “Delete my data” or remove the app. Account information remains until you use “Delete account” in the app or contact support. Deleting an account removes the Firebase sign-in identity and notification registration; local health records are deleted separately so you can make that choice deliberately.
Your choices
- Use the app as a guest for 24 hours without creating an account.
- Disable local or account notifications in Profile → Notification settings.
- Delete device health records in Profile → Delete my data.
- Delete your sign-in identity in Profile → Delete account.
- Request privacy help by emailing admincluegent@gmail.com.
Security
ClariMeno encrypts its local health database and stores encryption material using operating-system protected storage. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, so keep your device and operating system updated and use a device passcode.
Medical disclaimer
ClariMeno records and summarizes information you provide. It does not provide a diagnosis, treatment, cure, medication recommendation, dosage calculation, or emergency service. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions and local emergency services for urgent help.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date on this page. For questions or requests, email admincluegent@gmail.com.
